According to a recent Newsweek article, “THE BEAUTY ADVANTAGE”, fifty-seven percent of corporate managers felt that landing a job was harder for an unattractive candidate. This may account for the reason that despite a recession, the overall plastic surgery demand dropped only 2% last year. According to a survey of 2148 adults, consumer interest in cosmetic procedures has increased. More than 2/3 of those surveyed would ha have a cosmetic procedure if money was not a factor.
